i landed on your website while i was searching for Adobe CS6 Design Standard. i created an account at adobe, but no luck getting the file to download. is there any possible way to know if this is true about adobe having disconnected this package
Most of these updates we found on the Internet archive, as a lot of the old Adobe website was archived here. The only problem is you in have to download them one at a time. Which is what I did to get the collection.
For Camera Raw, the new feature policy is the same as it has been since Photoshop was included in Creative Cloud: All users of Photoshop CS6 and later receive Camera Raw updates that include new camera profiles, new lens profiles, and bug fixes; but new features are available only to Creative Cloud subscribers.
For Lightroom, all users of Lightroom 6 and Lightroom CC users receive new camera profiles, new lens profiles, and bug fixes; but new features are available only to Creative Cloud subscribers. This is consistent with how Camera Raw has worked since the first version of Photoshop CC.
I want to be able to see my AWR files in my windows 7 library. It will not preview them for me in RAW. I also cannot open them in Photoshop even tho I have tried to update both the DNG and Camera Raw downloads. Any thoughtsNot sure if my computer simply cannot handle the updates.
Not wanting to spend $60/month for occasional use, running these under Mojave in a VM was my next-best option. After repeatedly running into an error using a VirtualBox setup script, I downloaded VMware Fusion 12 Player and tried to install it. The installer got stuck at the macOS Utilities screen, regardless of whether I dragged the Mohave installer app to Fusion or built an ISO.
My next step was to figure out what was being dowloaded and download those files manually. Using tcpdump -A port 80 grep -A 5 GET, I was able to grab the swupdl.adobe.com URLs the updater uses, and manually download:
If you are using PS CS6 and either get a new camera after this release (and it's not covered in 9.1.1), or your current camera isn't one that's covered, then this issue does affect you.
If your camera isn't one covered by ACR 9.1.1, your only option for working with its raw images in Photoshop CS6 in the future will be to convert them to the DNG format (also known as \"digital negative\" format). While in the past, this was a choice with CS6, it will become a necessity for any new cameras. (Users of PS CS2, CS3, CS4, CS5 and CS5.5 as well as Lightroom 1.0 are already using the DNG Converter to access new camera raw profiles.) DNG Converter releases parallel those of ACR, supporting the same cameras, and have so far been openly available at no cost.
By way of background, note that Photoshop cannot deal raw images directly so all raw files must be first processed in ACR before they can be brought into PS. What DNG Converter does is convert the camera's proprietry raw file into a format that ACR can deal with. DNG Converter is always updated with the latest releases of cameras, and once in the DNG format, images will work fine with ANY version of ACR.
However, the Lens Profile Corrections available within ACR are not available in DNG Converter. As such, even if your camera itself is supported in ACR 9.1.1, you won't have access to any new lens corrections added from this point forward.
For a full list of supported cameras who's native raw format can be read direclty with ACR, see this page. (Note that this currently just lists those supported by 9.1, but will presumably be updated once 9.1.1 is available.)
The upshot of this is that going forward, Photoshop CS6 users who own cameras not supported by ACR 9.1.1 will have to decide to either sign up for the subscription-based Creative Cloud Photoshop offering, or switch to a different raw converter entirely.

It could just be the way it handles raw conversion - for instance, with a Canon camera, you get slightly better raw conversion on their Digital Photo Professional software than Adobe, though at the cost of a lot of usability when it comes to the software.
The stuff on FB is usually people doing it on their phones and flinging it online, but I'm talking files with actual 360 cameras can be edited very easily on CC with special features just for that. Here's an example of one I did for a facility that Hofstra wanted me to shoot:

This software is no longer available for the download. This could be due to the program being discontinued, having a security issue or for other reasons.
Adobe Camera Raw plug-in allows photographers to directly manipulate the original data captured by a digital camera sensor, producing images with superior tonal range and the maximum amount of detail. The plug-in also supports raw files in Digital Negative (DNG) format that has been developed by Adobe.
Among the supported camera models you can find: Apple, Canon, Epson, Google, GoPro, Kodak, Nikon, Panasonic, Samsung, and Sony. For a complete list of supported cameras go here.If you have problems with Camera Raw Plug In go here.

In order to pursue further innovations in image processing and workflow technology, the next release of Adobe Camera Raw (v 9.1.1) will be the final version available for use with CS6. Customers can utilize the free Adobe DNG Converter utility to receive the very latest camera support for CS6 and older versions of our software going all the way back to Photoshop CS2 and Lightroom 1.0.
Have had my 7DII in hand for about 10 days. All was going well until this evening. I down loaded the days crop using Canon EOS utility just as I have been all along. However when I attempted to open the raw in Photo shop 12 it wouldn't open, same when I tried CS6. Pop up told me I didn't have the proper camera raw soft ware. Never mind that I've been downloading Raw images for some time now and have downloaded Raw images from this camera for almost two weeks. So. I installed the latest up dates. Now I am able to open raw files in CS6 but still receive the same popup when using PS 12.
The next update, ACR 9.1.1, will only work with Photoshop CC, the cloud-based, subscription version of PS (and LR CC). So you'll have to rent the software and pay monthly, if you want to contine using PS in the future, with as-yet unannounced new camera models.
Something else you could have done and we can do in the future is convert our cameras' CR2 RAW files to Adobe DNG files, which are another form of RAW file. Adobe DNG Converter is free to download, to do this. And DNG is backward compatible with older versions of Photoshop, Elements and Lightroom.
P.S. You don't really need to use EOS Utility to download your files. You can simply use Windows Explorer to create destination folders, then open the memory card, highlight all the files and drag/drop/copy them over to your hard drive. (Similar can be done on a Mac, if that's what you're using.) It takes less time to do than it does to write about it here!
Thanks guys, I appreciate the exchange. My 7DII did indeed open Raw files with both Elements 12 and CS6, but as stated, quit last night. I downloaded all the updates I could and Raw opens withuot a hitch in CS6. I did discover, however, if I double left click the RAW icon it will open in 12. I have no idea of what is going on, and as long as it's working, I'll keep on doing what I'm doing. I will try the Windows Explorer method later tonight after the shoot I'm scheduled for this evening. I'll let ya all know!
From what I know, Alan Myers, reply is a little short on info, as I am guessing Photoshop Elements will stay a stand alone. And as such will be able to open the newest camera RAW files. But with Adobe, who knows. They seem to have lost much concern for its customers. That is what happens when you re the big dog and 99.5% of all pros and commercial shops use it. 1e1e36bf2d
